Incoloy Alloy 800 Seamless Capillary Coiled Tubing
Meilong commitment to quality excellence
From the time an order is received, sent through the production process, completed, and finally shipped, many levels of inspection occur to reinforce Meilong’s Quality Policy. The job of ensuring quality products extends as far as our machine operators. Meilong operators take ownership over material processed at their stations by measuring for dimensional accuracy and conducting a visual inspection of every piece.

Incoloy alloy 800 is nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature exposure. Incoloy alloy 800 was the first of these alloys and it was slightly modified into Incoloy 800H. This modification was to control carbon (.05-.10%) and grain size to optimize stress rupture properties. The nickel content makes the alloys highly resistant to both chloride stress-corrosion cracking and to embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase. The general corrosion resistance is excellent. In the solution annealed condition.
Incoloy 800 is primarily used in applications with temperatures up to 1100° F. The chemical balance allows the nickel steel alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation and nitriding atmospheres.

Manufacturing Process and Resultant Properties
Welded & Redrawn Tubing
Strip splice welds join lengths of cold rolled strip to enable long lengths between orbital welds (greater than 14,500 between orbital welds is achievable).
The strip is formed into a tubular cross section and longitudinally seam welded using the gas tungsten arc (GTAW) process. The tubing is plug-redrawn to an intermediate outside diameter, heat treated, and make the same process circulation to achieve the desired size and length.
Seamless & Redrawn Tubing
Seamless extruded tube hollows are drawn or drawn / sunk to final size to produce seamless tubing coils 500 to 2,000 ft. long, depending upon the size. The tubing is heat treated and joined by orbital welding to achieve the desired length. The final material condition of the tubing is heat treated.
Standards and Specifications
ASTM B163, Standard Specification for Seamless Nickel and Nickel Alloy Condenser and Heat Exchanger Tubes
ASTM B407, Standard Specification for Nickel-Iron-Chromium Seamless Pipe and Tube
ASTM B515, Standard Specification for Welded UNS 08800 Alloy Tubes
Meets the material limits for annealed and cold-worked, solid solution, nickel-based alloys listed in ISO 15156-3 for material type 4c in Table A.14.
